There is a job still to be done.
The Centre Road Beach Access Ramp and beach viewing Platform have not yet been repaired.
Community members will be aware that there is no other compliant and readily available Disabled beach access in Seaspray (or anywhere else within 80km of Seaspray).
While a Funding application has been made, it may be a couple of months before the results of that application are known.
We need to be prepared for the possibility that Funds are not granted this year, and we need to have a Plan B for obtaining alternative funding for repair of the Ramp and Viewing Platform.
The Photos that can be accessed from the Home page of this website show that the Disabled Ramp and Viewing Platform are capable of withstanding the significant storm events we regularly experience. But they need to be reasonably maintained so that excessive sand build up is avoided.
